Israel Reports Many Casualties, Injuries Since Iran Conflict Began
The institute’s figures have not been independently verified, and questions remain regarding the full scale of casualties and damage due to strict reporting restrictions in Israel on losses caused by missile and drone attacks from Iran and Hezbollah, as well as combat activity in southern Lebanon.
According to the same data, Iran has fired over 640 missiles that reached Israeli airspace and deployed more than 765 drones since the beginning of the conflict.
The report also states that more than 6,300 people have been displaced within Israel, with Tel Aviv recording the highest number of evacuees at 1,535. Other heavily affected areas include Arad with around 1,510 displaced residents, Dimona with 1,150, and Beit Shemesh with 515.
Regional tensions have sharply increased following the joint US-Israeli military campaign against Iran, which Iranian authorities say has resulted in over 3,300 deaths. In response, Tehran has carried out missile and drone strikes targeting Israel as well as sites in Iraq, Jordan, and Gulf states hosting US military forces, according to reports.
